The Metrology Technician 3 will interpret complex drawings based on Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles, create the Dimensional Measurement Plan (DMP), develop / optimize Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programs, and collect dimensional data. While prioritizing tasks in a manufacturing environment, the candidate will analyze data, resolve measurement discrepancies, and generate reports. The candidate will serve as a technical expert, direct junior technicians, and lead training initiatives. Additionally, the Metrology Technician 3 will own the scheduling system, drive adherence to industry standards and best practices, oversee continuous process improvement, interface with outside vendors, and prioritize budgetary spending. The ideal candidate will enjoy hands-on work in a dynamic setting and have previous automotive industry experience.
