  • Responsibilities

    • Prepare manufacturing cost estimates and sell price quotations on future products and engineering changes for current products.
    • Support the team Product Business Manager and applicable Sales Director or Account Manager in managing current tool development costs and production piece price cost from program inception until final year of production.
    • Active participant in pricing strategies to win business, and annual customer price reduction negotiations.
    • Monitor product measurables including gross margin, PONC, EVA and actively work to improve it.
    • Responsible for reviewing quotes, monitoring and managing pricing and customer payments for "won" business.
    • Prepare and analyze detailed business models including ROCE and EVA analysis.
    • Continually work with Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality and Assembly departments to reduce product cost.
    • Responsible for maintenance and annual update of AS400 JBA standard costing system.
    • Annually prepare 3 year Sales Forecast and Budget for responsible products.

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
    • 3-5 years experience preferred
    • Experience with income statements, cost of goods sold, gross profit margins and return on capital employed.  
    • Strong analytical skills required
    • Good communication skills required
      • Experience with all Microsoft products, especially Excel required.
      • Tooling, quality and component/assembly manufacturing capability knowledge / understanding preferred
      • Financial statement competence in understanding the mechanics of income statements, cost of goods sold, gross profit margin analysis, return on capital employed, EVA etc. preferred
