Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Write purchase requisitions and work orders
  • Follow up on purchase/work orders to keep them on time and assure work is completed as requested
  • Coordinates electronic homologation and certification processes
  • Carry out tasks as assigned by manager or engineers
  • Build or modify simple product components and assemblies
  • Performs technical analyses and determines test procedures to follow.
  • Build and test electronic/mechanical models and assemblies as needed.
  • Interprets test results and writes clear and accurate test result reports.
  • Report progress to manager in writing weekly and in verbal form daily
  • Works requiring minimal supervision

Qualifications

 

QUALIFICATIONS  

  • Ability to handle and organize paperwork and files
  • Presents simple technical reports, both written and oral
  • Can do basic calculations to analyze designs and solve problems
  • Able to work with simple test equipment
  • Ability to work with hand tools and basic machines to alter or create parts; must have mechanical or electrical aptitude to work with tools in tearing down product assemblies
  • Computer literacy, uses Microsoft Office Suite products to prepare reports and updates

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Two year technical degree helpful (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)
  • Work with electrical devices is preferred
  • Manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Entry level
